We all would love to see more magic in our lives.

The desire for something unexpected to show up at just the right moment.

To see a coincidence that is beyond explanation.

Yet we often do the very things that repel magic.

For we fill us our lives with so much stuff, there is no room for magic to squeeze in.

Our schedules, our days, even our relationships are so full, there is little room for Life to surprise us.

How often do we let time open with nothing scheduled to do?

Is there much room in our lives to actually say "yes" when an unexpected invitation comes?

As we go through our days and we take care of our responsibilities, how often do we mindfully leave room for something new to enter?

Of course, we have want to take care of those things that are essential for us to get done.

Our work, our errands, maintaining our home environment, and the like, are all important to us.

This is not to say we should abandon any of it.

Yet when we leave room in our lives that is open, unscheduled, where we can do anything that comes up, that is where we give Life an opportunity to surprise us.

To allow the magic to creep in and bring us to unexpected places.

Such as having time to meet up at the last minute with an old friend.

Or go to an event we didn't know was happening.

Perhaps it is as simple as just taking a walk in our neighborhood at a time when we are normally home.

Who knows what magic, what surprises await us when we break our habits and routine.

For that is where Life can sneak in and wow us.

When we have made room for the seemingly random event to come to us and bring us to a whole new place.

These random events can be life changing, or they can just be small, happy occurrences that fill up our heart.

Magic is not always big and powerful.

Sometimes it is subtle and serene.

One thing is for certain.

If we do not leave room for Life to bring us something magical, it never will.

Have you made room in your life for the magic to show up?

Can you let go of having a full schedule and allow Life to surprise you?
