Show Notes

Segment 1

In this episode of The A Train to Sedona, Linda Marsanico introduces Dr. Enolia Harris-Pedro, a modern-day medicine woman whose path to spiritual mastery began with a deep inner calling and a transformative encounter with indigenous elders. Enolia shares how her mother inspired her to embrace a mysterious inner gift and how connecting with ancestral wisdom through global indigenous teachers helped her awaken and amplify that gift through nature and ceremony. For spiritually conscious individuals, her story is a profound reminder that true belonging, intuition, and connection to the Divine arise when we honor the energy within and let it shine through our human experiences.

Segment 2

In this deeply resonant segment of The A Train to Sedona, Dr. Enolia Harris-Foti speaks to the profound healing and energetic alignment that nature offers when we consciously return to it. She describes how being immersed in natural environments like New Zealand or northern Ontario allowed her to experience emotional clarity and physical wellbeing, reinforcing the idea that Mother Earth recharges and grounds us when we are present with her. Dr. Enolia also emphasizes the sacredness of indigenous wisdom, encouraging us to honor ancient traditions through reciprocity, respect, and inquiry—reminding spiritually conscious listeners that true wellness flows from reverence, awareness, and living in harmony with both the earth and our ancestral teachings.

Segment 3

In this inspiring segment of The A Train to Sedona, Dr. Enolia Foti recounts her evolution from a corporate network designer to a globally recognized thought leader, spiritual coach, and retreat facilitator. Guided by her passions and spiritual values, she created a life aligned with joy and purpose—holding empowerment workshops, speaking internationally, and organizing retreats that blend ancient wisdom with experiential healing. Her journey serves as a powerful reminder for spiritually conscious individuals to dream intentionally, honor their gifts, and cultivate balance by walking in respectful partnership with both the inner self and the world around them.

Segment 4

In the final segment of The A Train to Sedona, Dr. Enolia Foti shares a powerful call to partnership, mutual respect, and sacred balance in relationships—emphasizing that true unity does not mean losing oneself, but walking side-by-side with love and freedom. She expands on her commitment to youth advocacy, inviting us to honor the wisdom of young people and recognize their innate gifts with curiosity and humility. With heartfelt clarity, Enolia closes by encouraging spiritually conscious listeners to become lighthouses amid the chaos—offering peace, presence, and light simply by being authentically themselves.

00:04:05.610 --> 00:04:10.930 Linda Marsanico: You know we have to tell our listeners that we go back almost 2 years now, Enolia.

00:04:11.390 --> 00:04:13.390 Dr. Enolia Foti: Yes, yes, we do.

00:04:13.390 --> 00:04:15.840 Linda Marsanico: That we met on Sarah's

00:04:16.260 --> 00:04:25.279 Linda Marsanico: gift of healing TV, and I think it was April No. May of 2023, and you had such difficulty with the

00:04:25.500 --> 00:04:33.669 Linda Marsanico: Wi-fi. You were coming in and out, and I thought to myself what poise and dedication you had to just come back in a number of times.

00:04:33.850 --> 00:04:39.562 Dr. Enolia Foti: Yes, and thank goodness, since then my Internet has gotten a lot better.

00:04:40.610 --> 00:04:59.750 Dr. Enolia Foti: Yes, it was a wonderful, wonderful time meeting. And today's conversation which I co-hosted with Sarah Jane was a wonderful, wonderful stint of time to be able to learn and develop my podcasting skills. So yes, I definitely and I enjoyed meeting you so much.

00:05:00.080 --> 00:05:05.530 Linda Marsanico: It's likewise I have a couple of questions for you. My 1st is.

00:05:06.080 --> 00:05:12.830 Linda Marsanico: what are the influences from childhood and adolescence which bring you to where you are today.

00:05:13.840 --> 00:05:21.159 Dr. Enolia Foti: That's a huge question. But you know the very 1st influence we always have to look

00:05:21.430 --> 00:05:24.759 Dr. Enolia Foti: at who we came into the world with our parents.

00:05:25.150 --> 00:05:32.049 Dr. Enolia Foti: and you know I was close with both of my parents, but my mother and I had something very, very special.

00:05:32.400 --> 00:05:41.489 Dr. Enolia Foti: and it was in observances that I realized that we didn't always do everything the normal way. There were

00:05:41.610 --> 00:05:47.560 Dr. Enolia Foti: times when I would watch my mother, and she just knew things. And I'm like, how did you do that?

00:05:47.920 --> 00:05:51.609 Dr. Enolia Foti: And she always shared with me that we have a gift.

00:05:52.140 --> 00:05:58.020 Dr. Enolia Foti: and as you grow up you will develop yours, and don't ever let anyone

00:05:58.410 --> 00:06:00.170 Dr. Enolia Foti: have you hold your gift back?

00:06:00.500 --> 00:06:08.660 Dr. Enolia Foti: She never shared what that gift was. She never said how it came to be, what it's going to look like or anything. I just remembered that moment.

00:06:09.460 --> 00:06:15.450 Dr. Enolia Foti: And so, as I grew up, I lost my parents early because my parents had me very late in life.

00:06:15.650 --> 00:06:26.319 Dr. Enolia Foti: My mom had me at 48 years old, and so, you know, by the time I was in college I lost my father, and I lost my mother in my early thirties.

00:06:26.660 --> 00:06:41.299 Dr. Enolia Foti: but I did a huge stint. I had incorporated what I was going to do for my career. I designed computer networks for a fortune. 500 company right out there in in New York. And

00:06:41.520 --> 00:06:48.079 Dr. Enolia Foti: I designed computer networks. And as senior analyst starting and I was

00:06:48.190 --> 00:07:09.559 Dr. Enolia Foti: probably halfway through my career, 3 quarters through my career, when I had this longing in my heart, this longing in my heart to wanting to know my heritage, wanting to know more. There had to be more to life than just this corporate thing that I was doing, because I felt like something was missing. So you know, I remember going to the Omega Center

00:07:10.170 --> 00:07:24.759 Dr. Enolia Foti: and in Rhinebeck, New York, and I went to the Omega Center to see the 13 indigenous grandmothers. I was like, sounds like a great thing. I got it as a mother's day present from my then husband and and my 2 boys, because I have 2 boys.

00:07:25.240 --> 00:07:39.340 Dr. Enolia Foti: and you know, when I finished that weekend it changed my life because I saw 13 women represented from all over the world, and they called themselves medicine women, and at the time I didn't know what that was.

00:07:39.690 --> 00:07:46.080 Dr. Enolia Foti: but I saw them in prayer and in ceremony, incorporating and allowing us to be participate with them.

00:07:46.640 --> 00:07:53.039 Dr. Enolia Foti: and I could feel the energy from a 4 foot 2 Tibetan grandmother.

00:07:53.970 --> 00:07:58.500 Dr. Enolia Foti: a hundred yards away, as if she was sitting next to me, putting her hand on my stomach.

00:07:59.040 --> 00:08:01.039 Dr. Enolia Foti: That's how powerful it was.

00:08:01.040 --> 00:08:01.650 Linda Marsanico: Hmm.

00:08:01.870 --> 00:08:08.490 Dr. Enolia Foti: And I was like, there's something here that I don't understand, that I don't know. I need to know what this is.

00:08:09.040 --> 00:08:18.969 Dr. Enolia Foti: So I promised myself that before that actual week ended with them I was going to meet somebody to teach me, because

00:08:19.100 --> 00:08:22.210 Dr. Enolia Foti: I needed to learn. I was compelled to.

00:08:22.690 --> 00:08:39.660 Dr. Enolia Foti: And it's interesting because it wasn't 1 of the 13 indigenous, but it was one of the students of one of the 13 indigenous, and I met Grandmother Isabel Mawasaki, and she was actually the student of Grandmother Margaret from the 13 indigenous.

00:08:40.120 --> 00:08:58.629 Dr. Enolia Foti: and I found this confidence to go up to her and say, I would love for you to teach me. And she's like, Okay, my girl, if you're very serious, what do you want to learn? And I hadn't thought about what I wanted to learn. I just knew I needed the confidence to go approach her. And I was like, pick something, pick something herbalism.

00:08:59.180 --> 00:09:05.100 Dr. Enolia Foti: And she said, Okay, well, if you're really serious, my girl, come up and see me sometime, and she hands me her card.

00:09:05.250 --> 00:09:30.610 Dr. Enolia Foti: and she lived in Warncliff, Ontario, and if anyone wants to know where that was or where that is, that is, 6 h north and about 5 h straight west an hour shy of Sault Ste. Marie, where Wisconsin, Michigan, and Canada all touch.

00:09:30.870 --> 00:09:32.130 Dr. Enolia Foti: So

00:09:32.280 --> 00:09:41.219 Dr. Enolia Foti: here I am. I was like, are you sure you want me to go? Because you know you're inviting me because I will show up, and 2 months later I took the drive off.

00:09:41.600 --> 00:09:46.049 Dr. Enolia Foti: I met her. We spent the weekend together. She afforded me the opportunity to stay.

00:09:46.500 --> 00:09:50.870 Dr. Enolia Foti: and she said, If you're really serious about being taught, I hold a women's retreat.

00:09:51.180 --> 00:09:57.729 Dr. Enolia Foti: let's have you work with us to create this woman's retreat, and we'll go from there.

00:09:58.000 --> 00:10:09.290 Dr. Enolia Foti: And so that's what I did. I showed up with 22 women because I was ensuring that I was going to get taught. And that started a lifelong relationship.

00:10:09.440 --> 00:10:11.510 Dr. Enolia Foti: And that was it.

00:10:11.710 --> 00:10:12.700 Linda Marsanico: What a story!

00:10:13.330 --> 00:10:14.230 Dr. Enolia Foti: Yeah.

00:10:14.600 --> 00:10:22.009 Linda Marsanico: So I'm wondering. Remember, when your mother said when you said that your mother had a gift and she told you, you have this gift?

00:10:22.530 --> 00:10:28.629 Linda Marsanico: Is it related at all to what you experienced with the indigenous grandmothers.

00:10:31.310 --> 00:10:35.450 Dr. Enolia Foti: It enhances it. Yes, what I learned and what I

00:10:35.640 --> 00:10:43.120 Dr. Enolia Foti: 1st learned with Grandmother Isabel Mawaski, and then many other grandmothers and grandfathers, medicine men and medicine women

00:10:43.660 --> 00:10:47.099 Dr. Enolia Foti: is that nature amplifies everything.

00:10:48.150 --> 00:10:55.950 Dr. Enolia Foti: is that the more that we trust and believe within ourselves, and withdraw within to look within.

00:10:56.490 --> 00:11:04.939 Dr. Enolia Foti: the more that it amplifies and shines through us, and to be in balance, to trust yourself

00:11:05.070 --> 00:11:08.629 Dr. Enolia Foti: to afford that amplification to take place.

00:11:09.530 --> 00:11:14.179 Dr. Enolia Foti: and then to trust your intuition of what's coming through you.

00:11:14.290 --> 00:11:17.560 Dr. Enolia Foti: not necessarily judging what's coming out of you. But

00:11:17.700 --> 00:11:22.829 Dr. Enolia Foti: what's allowing and affording to come through you is is everything.

00:11:23.230 --> 00:11:24.990 Dr. Enolia Foti: and that's how I live my life.

00:11:25.670 --> 00:11:27.449 Dr. Enolia Foti: That's how I live my life.

00:11:28.830 --> 00:11:41.860 Dr. Enolia Foti: So. Yes, it was. It was an unbelievable teaching, and after meeting with Grandmother Isabel Mawasaki, she opened the door to a great number of

00:11:41.950 --> 00:12:09.730 Dr. Enolia Foti: indigenous teachers that came into my life. Grandmother Shirley, of the Lakota, Grandfather Lynch, Archuleta of the Yaqui Indians, Grandmother Maria Rezaburu of the Apache. Then I go to the Huata in New Zealand. Then I go to the St. Gomas in South Africa. I was initiated by the Kiros Indians of Peru. I was also initiated here in Africa, in Angola with the Ovumbundu.

00:12:09.880 --> 00:12:17.760 Dr. Enolia Foti: So, and and I'm not even naming everyone that I've actually encountered and studied with. But what a blessing.

00:12:17.760 --> 00:12:18.600 Linda Marsanico: Yes.

00:12:19.030 --> 00:12:23.389 Dr. Enolia Foti: What a blessing! And I feel so grateful and so fortunate.

00:12:24.320 --> 00:12:34.700 Dr. Enolia Foti: And it's funny because it circles all the way back to Grandmother Isabel and Grandmother Isabel initiating me under the Ojibwe nation as a grandmother myself.

00:12:37.590 --> 00:12:42.170 Linda Marsanico: I'm thinking of all the wisdom in the ancient traditions.

00:12:42.610 --> 00:12:44.389 Dr. Enolia Foti: Hmm! I just have.

00:12:44.390 --> 00:12:47.839 Linda Marsanico: Come through you brings me to my next question.

00:12:49.140 --> 00:12:50.960 Linda Marsanico: You talked about nature.

00:12:51.140 --> 00:12:54.239 Linda Marsanico: What is the role of spirituality in your life?

00:12:56.920 --> 00:12:58.890 Dr. Enolia Foti: Spirituality.

00:13:01.910 --> 00:13:04.180 Dr. Enolia Foti: I don't even see it as a role.

00:13:04.420 --> 00:13:07.380 Dr. Enolia Foti: I see it as a way of life, a way of being.

00:13:08.350 --> 00:13:15.260 Dr. Enolia Foti: There is no separation between me and the Divine and the Creator. I don't care if you call it Creator. God, Lord.

00:13:15.940 --> 00:13:21.080 Dr. Enolia Foti: However, you refer to the Creator, there is no separation. So

00:13:21.440 --> 00:13:26.730 Dr. Enolia Foti: it's the humanness within us that teaches us to doubt. It's the humanness within us that

00:13:26.880 --> 00:13:30.577 Dr. Enolia Foti: teaches us to second guess to

00:13:32.390 --> 00:13:36.719 Dr. Enolia Foti: determine the human conditions by which we operate our lives.

00:13:36.950 --> 00:13:42.460 Dr. Enolia Foti: But what we have to remember is that we are energy beings shining through that human condition

00:13:42.900 --> 00:13:46.229 Dr. Enolia Foti: and in shining through that human condition.

00:13:46.450 --> 00:13:52.259 Dr. Enolia Foti: It doesn't dictate how we should be. We shine through the roles that we engage with.

00:13:52.400 --> 00:13:58.329 Dr. Enolia Foti: So as a mother, as a auntie, as a sister, as a daughter.

00:13:58.790 --> 00:14:07.370 Dr. Enolia Foti: and as an employer, employee, or whatever role that I adapt that energy being enolia shines through it.

00:14:07.670 --> 00:14:12.100 Dr. Enolia Foti: and that energy being enolia, is connected to Creator.

00:14:13.030 --> 00:14:17.439 Dr. Enolia Foti: and emanates through that which is this container.

00:14:18.730 --> 00:14:21.429 Dr. Enolia Foti: And navigates through this thing that we call life.

00:14:23.370 --> 00:14:28.050 Linda Marsanico: Now I'm going to ask you to pause there because we have a commercial break

00:14:28.480 --> 00:14:32.900 Linda Marsanico: yet when we come back I want to hear more about the shining through

00:14:33.110 --> 00:14:44.750 Linda Marsanico: of what comes through you from nature from all that connection. But for now, listeners, we are going to take a break, but do stay tuned. We have some exciting conversation.

00:16:29.790 --> 00:16:42.800 Linda Marsanico: Hello, everyone! Welcome back to the A. Train to Sedona. I'm Linda Marcannico with my guest, Dr. Anolia. Excuse me, Dr. Anolia Harris, Pedro.

00:16:43.300 --> 00:16:43.960 Dr. Enolia Foti: And no matter.

00:16:43.960 --> 00:16:51.159 Dr. Enolia Foti: Okay, many people. I just got married. So that name change is happening. It's just taking place. So.

00:16:51.160 --> 00:16:54.260 Linda Marsanico: And I know you with the older name.

00:16:54.630 --> 00:17:07.130 Linda Marsanico: translate in my mind. So please, Enolia, continue. You were describing yourself as having no separation with Creator as having energy come through you.

00:17:08.010 --> 00:17:23.550 Dr. Enolia Foti: Yeah, you know what it is is that we don't know that we're missing the balance in our lives until we go to a place that actually brings it in, and then, when you're outside every day, you feel it every day, and and you're encompassing it every day. Then you realize

00:17:23.750 --> 00:17:27.709 Dr. Enolia Foti: why am I feeling this euphoria? Why is it so wonderful?

00:17:27.900 --> 00:17:31.969 Dr. Enolia Foti: And so I'll give you an example, you know. Here I am.

00:17:32.660 --> 00:17:58.299 Dr. Enolia Foti: day to day, New York right and and doing what I usually do, but going to northern Ontario and starting my day off in green grass trees. Beautiful, you know, fields everywhere, and being in those fields, and then hardly ever going in the house versus being in the house all the time. There's a difference. When I spent time one of the best places I spent. Time was in the northern part of New Zealand.

00:17:58.580 --> 00:18:07.850 Dr. Enolia Foti: and every day I would get up, and every day I would go and venture out and learn different parts of the North Island, you know, in the forest.

00:18:07.950 --> 00:18:19.489 Dr. Enolia Foti: everywhere, with the way to have, and some out on my own, and I could feel the difference. It was just like being on a constant high.

00:18:19.990 --> 00:18:32.839 Dr. Enolia Foti: because your body is just so happy. There was never any pain, there was never any headaches. There wasn't any loud noises. There wasn't anything that engaged me that would just take me off of that bliss.

00:18:33.440 --> 00:18:37.980 Dr. Enolia Foti: and you don't realize that you can reach that until you're there.

00:18:38.560 --> 00:18:40.140 Dr. Enolia Foti: And so

00:18:40.620 --> 00:18:52.469 Dr. Enolia Foti: nature plays such a significant balance with us because we are beings we we weren't born with, with homes and roofs over our head, you know, and enclosures

00:18:52.470 --> 00:19:11.839 Dr. Enolia Foti: right. We were born as human beings, and we were outdoors, and we forged and and everything else we were, we were made for outside. And Mother Earth. What she does is she recharges us, she recharges us. She brings that energy through us when we're sad. She takes our woes from us. You cannot stay depressed

00:19:11.880 --> 00:19:15.140 Dr. Enolia Foti: or angry if you lay on the grass

00:19:15.430 --> 00:19:29.609 Dr. Enolia Foti: guaranteed 30, 40 min into it. You're going to go. You can remember what you were angry about, but you won't be angry. You won't have the physical emotion of anger, because Mother Earth literally recharges us like a battery.

00:19:29.770 --> 00:19:30.210 Linda Marsanico: Hmm.

00:19:30.210 --> 00:19:32.090 Dr. Enolia Foti: And it takes the woes.

00:19:32.540 --> 00:19:39.929 Dr. Enolia Foti: The same thing can be said with the breath, fresh air. That's why, when people go through clinically depressed

00:19:40.440 --> 00:19:51.800 Dr. Enolia Foti: times in their lives. The 1st thing they do is look at the room. Is it dark because you need the dark enclosure in order to maintain that energy. But if you go outside sunlight

00:19:52.220 --> 00:19:58.000 Dr. Enolia Foti: and fresh air and the ground, the earth, you can't maintain it.

00:19:58.390 --> 00:19:59.060 Linda Marsanico: Hmm.

00:19:59.060 --> 00:20:00.190 Dr. Enolia Foti: You cannot.

00:20:00.380 --> 00:20:08.960 Dr. Enolia Foti: So there's really something to say about how nature and the balance of what we are and who we are takes place

00:20:09.550 --> 00:20:12.860 Dr. Enolia Foti: when we're outside, so let me get it.

00:20:13.670 --> 00:20:14.460 Linda Marsanico: Sorry.

00:20:14.650 --> 00:20:16.119 Dr. Enolia Foti: I hope that answers the question.

00:20:16.120 --> 00:20:23.770 Linda Marsanico: Yes, it does. It makes me think of the Buddhist master thich Nhat Han, who offers the walking meditation

00:20:23.940 --> 00:20:35.060 Linda Marsanico: in the field in a garden, where you take off your shoes, and you feel the dirt, the soil, and the energy of Mother Earth comes up and recharges.

00:20:35.540 --> 00:20:46.360 Linda Marsanico: and I remember the person who channels Kuan Yin. My friend Li Lizak talks about through Kwon Yen says through her.

00:20:47.510 --> 00:20:52.799 Linda Marsanico: Take your shoes off, go to the park, and stand on the dirt.

00:20:53.290 --> 00:20:55.720 Linda Marsanico: And so it's the same concept really.

00:20:56.520 --> 00:21:01.489 Dr. Enolia Foti: And the reason they're telling you to take your shoes off is because typical soles are made out of rubber

00:21:02.160 --> 00:21:13.939 Dr. Enolia Foti: and rubber soles prevent energy from entering within your body and exiting out of your body. So you're literally putting the rubber soul is literally like a blocker

00:21:14.050 --> 00:21:32.189 Dr. Enolia Foti: from that. If you notice native Americans and indigenous Americans. They'll wear deerskin, and they'll wear things that don't have rubber on it. The leather is fine, you know. Again, it's of the earth right? It's the rubber.

00:21:33.070 --> 00:21:35.330 Dr. Enolia Foti: So that's why they say, take off your shoes.

00:21:35.400 --> 00:21:46.120 Linda Marsanico: It's a beautiful thing to feel that soil, and often in the fall I've done that. I've sat on a bench because it's pretty cool, and I've taken my shoes off and just felt the energy.

00:21:46.120 --> 00:21:46.840 Dr. Enolia Foti: Yeah.

00:21:46.840 --> 00:21:48.040 Linda Marsanico: Wonderful.

00:21:49.220 --> 00:21:56.030 Linda Marsanico: Have you said enough about your your response to my question before I go on to something else?

00:21:57.580 --> 00:22:03.970 Dr. Enolia Foti: I I think at this stage I have, and if anybody has other questions they can always inquire. I'd be happy to answer.

00:22:04.460 --> 00:22:05.200 Linda Marsanico: Okay.

00:22:05.710 --> 00:22:14.189 Linda Marsanico: So my next inquiry is, how do you integrate ancient tradition and modern wellness? Practice.

00:22:19.200 --> 00:22:28.350 Dr. Enolia Foti: Indigenous knowledge is ancient tradition, and modern practices would just be incorporating it. Now.

00:22:28.870 --> 00:22:32.470 Dr. Enolia Foti: so as simple as the fact that

00:22:33.430 --> 00:22:39.360 Dr. Enolia Foti: we respect all nature. We believe that all nature is energy, and all nature is life.

00:22:40.700 --> 00:22:43.710 Dr. Enolia Foti: and so I don't take without asking permission.

00:22:44.630 --> 00:22:50.879 Dr. Enolia Foti: I don't take without giving back, so I always keep a pouch of tobacco with me, and when I

00:22:51.330 --> 00:23:02.559 Dr. Enolia Foti: decide that I want some cedar, or or whatever I'm picking, or a flower in the case I ask permission of that plant to give its life, because that's what it's literally giving. It's giving its life.

00:23:02.950 --> 00:23:05.089 Dr. Enolia Foti: And then I give back that

00:23:05.330 --> 00:23:08.619 Dr. Enolia Foti: which I take, I place something else back that is, of me.

00:23:08.910 --> 00:23:11.160 Dr. Enolia Foti: And in this respect it's tobacco.

00:23:11.780 --> 00:23:18.930 Dr. Enolia Foti: And then the fact that that is a symbiotic relationship. I don't take more than I need.

00:23:20.920 --> 00:23:24.979 Dr. Enolia Foti: I asked permission, and I give it back.

00:23:26.970 --> 00:23:33.320 Dr. Enolia Foti: We've been doing that since the beginning of time. But then, what happened is this sense of entitlement that came with the humans.

00:23:34.200 --> 00:23:37.769 Dr. Enolia Foti: and since of entitlement well, I'll just take it what I don't need to ask permission.

00:23:38.060 --> 00:23:41.770 Dr. Enolia Foti: I'll take more than I need that way. I don't have to be bothered going back later on.

00:23:43.120 --> 00:23:55.700 Dr. Enolia Foti: you know, let alone. Who are you impacting that you're taking so much? You're taking away from someone else that could be using, you know. What's giving its life in order to take more than what we

00:23:56.760 --> 00:24:02.509 Dr. Enolia Foti: you know. All things are life, all things. Plants are life also.

00:24:03.360 --> 00:24:16.369 Dr. Enolia Foti: you know, and and we don't appreciate that. And we just trounce on it. And we have those rubber soles on, and we're on our way, and we're busy, and we can't be bothered. And we're thinking. And we're one direction and only one direction. And and there we are.

00:24:17.390 --> 00:24:36.749 Dr. Enolia Foti: And when we talk about ancient practices, I mean, if you read anything of that which already existed, the traditions have already shared that way. If you ever sat down with any elder to understand and appreciate what their life

00:24:37.320 --> 00:24:43.499 Dr. Enolia Foti: has been and what they've seen in their life, and what they want to pass down, because not every tradition is written.

00:24:44.260 --> 00:24:59.349 Dr. Enolia Foti: So here in Africa and I'm in Angola. It's oral traditions, and things are passed down orally so they're passed down by storytelling, and they're passed down by stories, and if you don't sit down, listen, stay still and engage your elders. You will not know a thing.

00:25:01.571 --> 00:25:13.459 Dr. Enolia Foti: The same with the indigenous there on Turtle Island, which is the United States, and that's how the native Americans and Native Canadians refer to United States as Turtle Island, because it was their island first, st

00:25:14.460 --> 00:25:21.190 Dr. Enolia Foti: and as they engage the practices of what their ancestors knew and how to grow.

00:25:22.390 --> 00:25:26.349 Dr. Enolia Foti: why, we create? What? Why are Tps the way that they are?

00:25:27.150 --> 00:25:29.030 Dr. Enolia Foti: What do they represent?

00:25:30.460 --> 00:25:32.790 Dr. Enolia Foti: How do we respect it and honor it?

00:25:34.240 --> 00:25:40.260 Dr. Enolia Foti: I am. I learned, drum making from my grandmother, Elder, what is that medicine?

00:25:41.210 --> 00:25:43.150 Dr. Enolia Foti: Did you know that it was medicine?

00:25:44.240 --> 00:25:46.359 Dr. Enolia Foti: How do we honor that medicine?

00:25:46.490 --> 00:25:52.230 Dr. Enolia Foti: How is it an extension of us all of that. The answers are right there. They're there in the teachings.

00:25:53.690 --> 00:25:58.909 Dr. Enolia Foti: But how we approach those teachings, how we respect those teachings.

00:25:59.290 --> 00:26:01.349 Dr. Enolia Foti: It's on each one of us.

00:26:01.660 --> 00:26:19.310 Dr. Enolia Foti: I know that there are times when people get angry. They're like you cannot sell the teachings. The teachings are passed down to us orally, traditionally, and they're not to be sold. They're not to be capitalized on. They're there for everyone, and we've forgotten what universal truth is.

00:26:21.170 --> 00:26:23.789 Dr. Enolia Foti: It is available for everyone.

00:26:24.290 --> 00:26:30.709 Dr. Enolia Foti: It is not just available for me. And Linda. Sorry. Too bad. Can't, can't give that to you unless you pay me.

00:26:32.720 --> 00:26:34.260 Dr. Enolia Foti: That's not how we were.

00:26:36.130 --> 00:26:41.480 Dr. Enolia Foti: We teach, we share, we, we raise the vibration.

00:26:41.640 --> 00:26:45.429 Dr. Enolia Foti: and we respect 1st and above all, we respect.

00:26:47.440 --> 00:26:58.179 Dr. Enolia Foti: And so any traditions that you learn anything that you bring through, or that comes through. Those who stood before you just need to be respected.

00:26:58.500 --> 00:27:00.259 Linda Marsanico: And then practice.

00:27:00.460 --> 00:27:28.559 Dr. Enolia Foti: And yes, it's okay to have that discussion that says, well, you know, right now we're 2025. And when it was practiced in 1979, or seventies, or whatever the case is for the person. These were the circumstances, you know, and have that discussion with your elder, and putting it to practice. And here's here's the the thoughts around and surrounding it, and why it was placed. What it is.

00:27:28.700 --> 00:27:38.660 Dr. Enolia Foti: You know people do a lot of things blindly without asking questions. That's another very, very important thing. Stop doing things blindly and question everything.

00:27:39.430 --> 00:27:57.380 Dr. Enolia Foti: You know. It's that old age story that in Thanksgiving, you know, here it is that the turkey is cut a certain way, and you know you never question why it was cut a certain way, and then you finally go back and you ask, grandmother, why did you cut the turkey a certain way because it couldn't fit in the pan?

00:27:58.945 --> 00:28:02.140 Dr. Enolia Foti: You have to ask.

00:28:03.950 --> 00:28:07.270 Dr. Enolia Foti: So I think that that is, yeah.

00:28:07.930 --> 00:28:12.329 Linda Marsanico: Asking is so important asking the questions. And it's

00:28:12.900 --> 00:28:17.820 Linda Marsanico: reminds me of the genius of childhood. Why is this? What is this?

00:28:18.530 --> 00:28:22.920 Linda Marsanico: The curiosity and the belief that

00:28:24.100 --> 00:28:32.500 Linda Marsanico: many things are possible. In a sense, maybe all things are possible until they get clamped down right, because there's the spiritual

00:28:32.680 --> 00:28:43.139 Linda Marsanico: saying and belief that all is possible at all times in the present moment, because that's where the action is in the present moment, right here, right now, this is where it is.

00:28:44.020 --> 00:28:50.149 Dr. Enolia Foti: Well, if you think about it, what are the limitations that are in your way, except that which is self-imposed.

00:28:51.420 --> 00:28:58.780 Linda Marsanico: We put blocks. We stand in our own way. It's been said so many times, yet

00:28:59.190 --> 00:29:24.770 Linda Marsanico: I think it can go unnoticed because we're so busy I had Ralph White on my show, and he was talking about. He's the he was the co-founder of the open center in New York City, which closed. And now he's beginning a new place, the New Center, New York, and he said he was born in Wales, and he saw the Industrial society

00:29:25.120 --> 00:29:29.140 Linda Marsanico: pollute and wreck the beautiful earth.

00:29:29.550 --> 00:29:34.010 Dr. Enolia Foti: Yes, yes, so yes.

00:29:34.010 --> 00:29:43.809 Linda Marsanico: There's a lot to be questioned, and someone else said to me, I forget who it is. I've been talking to so many people. You ask the questions you keep asking.

00:29:44.360 --> 00:29:47.720 Linda Marsanico: That's how you become aware and wise.

00:29:48.600 --> 00:29:49.570 Dr. Enolia Foti: Exactly.

00:29:50.070 --> 00:29:54.239 Linda Marsanico: Now with that said, we have a just a few minutes before we have another break

00:29:54.610 --> 00:29:56.569 Linda Marsanico: when we come back, you know, Leah.

00:29:57.220 --> 00:30:03.140 Linda Marsanico: I would like to know. And I want our listeners to here.

00:30:03.910 --> 00:30:12.830 Linda Marsanico: We know that you are a thought leader, an award-winning keynote speaker, a global influencer. I want to hear a little bit about that journey.

00:30:13.160 --> 00:30:14.469 Dr. Enolia Foti: When we come back.

00:30:15.400 --> 00:30:17.720 Linda Marsanico: Okay, listeners, we're taking a break now.

00:30:27.530 --> 00:30:37.992 Linda Marsanico: I do believe we are taking a break. Oh, I have. Note a note from the engineer. The program crashed. One second technology is what it is.

00:30:38.380 --> 00:30:39.469 Dr. Enolia Foti: Yes, it is.

00:30:40.790 --> 00:30:44.339 Linda Marsanico: It's important to have a sense of humor.

00:32:22.880 --> 00:32:30.770 Linda Marsanico: Hello, everyone! Welcome back to the A. Train to Sedona broadcast. I'm Linda Marcannico with my guest.

00:32:31.130 --> 00:32:46.110 Linda Marsanico: Anolia Harris Pedro Anolia. Please tell us about the journey to all these wonderful roles that you have associated with you as a thought leader, award-winning keynote speaker, global influencer.

00:32:46.370 --> 00:32:47.510 Linda Marsanico: Please share.

00:32:48.490 --> 00:32:59.880 Dr. Enolia Foti: Well, you know, it's so funny. It's it's almost like the same journey that I took as I went on my spirituality. It kind of went hand in hand with it, you know. When I

00:33:00.330 --> 00:33:28.930 Dr. Enolia Foti: retired from from my computer designing computer networks job, I knew what I wanted to do. I knew that I wanted to start my own business and starting entrepreneurial isn't always easy, everybody thinks. Oh, I'll just do my own business, not a big deal, but it is a big deal, you know, and so there I was. I had picked up. I had moved from New York to California, and here I am in the middle of California don't really know anyone. And I wanted to start this business.

00:33:29.080 --> 00:33:36.340 Dr. Enolia Foti: So it's like, Okay, what kind of business do I want to start. Well, you know what I've learned the lesson in life.

00:33:36.450 --> 00:33:40.249 Dr. Enolia Foti: I wanted to be in business with that which I love.

00:33:40.730 --> 00:34:08.610 Dr. Enolia Foti: and so I didn't have a box to put myself in, but what I did is, I laid out the characteristics of everything that I love, and the characteristics of everything that I don't ever want to do again. I never wanted to be in anybody's cubicle again. Okay, I didn't want to ever put on another business suit. If I could afford myself that opportunity like not because I have to, because I choose to. Okay. And so.

00:34:08.610 --> 00:34:29.480 Dr. Enolia Foti: in looking at the characteristics I love, I am a person who is a Jane of all trades. Right? I'm good at a lot of things. I may not be the best at everything, but I love horseback riding. I love canoeing. I love this, I scuba dive, I this I that, the other. I love all of these different things. So what I did is, I looked at that. And I was like, Okay.

00:34:29.620 --> 00:34:37.050 Dr. Enolia Foti: where can I get to do these things? When can I get to do these things? How can I get to choose to do these things, I said. You know what

00:34:37.969 --> 00:34:49.199 Dr. Enolia Foti: I'm good at speaking. I'm good at oration. I'm good at making people feel good and lifting themselves off. I've worked with one of my grandmothers to

00:34:49.239 --> 00:35:08.589 Dr. Enolia Foti: really frame up the type of coaching that I wanted to do, and she had been a women's empowerment coach for 40 years. So under her tutelage, I was able to create my own program. And what I loved about her was that she didn't have me take from her. She had me develop my own through how she developed her own.

00:35:09.360 --> 00:35:36.339 Dr. Enolia Foti: And so what I did is I called up like 12 of my friends, and I'm like, I want to do different workshops. Some are make your own drum because I can do empowerment through the fact that we're going through this iteration of drum making and ceremony. I wanted to do just having a conversation of personal development. I had all of these different things that I wanted to do, and so I called up 12 of my friends, will you hold space for me? Will you just invite your friends? Let me just do it this way

00:35:36.340 --> 00:35:43.869 Dr. Enolia Foti: and in doing that, that ended up being 22 states and 4 countries. Later in that 1st year.

00:35:44.390 --> 00:35:52.679 Linda Marsanico: And your friends brought you into those cities in those countries. What a way to network Anolia! Brilliant.

00:35:52.680 --> 00:35:56.010 Dr. Enolia Foti: Yeah, I was like blown away.

00:35:56.120 --> 00:36:21.709 Dr. Enolia Foti: And then word of mouth started going around, and then people started calling me. Well, I heard that you spoke, my friend, such and such, and it was my network. It was truly my network. Yes, I advertised yes, I shared, and yes, I pushed, but not like the way people do when they're they're seriously marketing and pulling together a marketing budget and all of that stuff. And so I started getting requests.

00:36:22.000 --> 00:36:33.619 Dr. Enolia Foti: and the requests weren't just coming from the United States. The requests were coming from various different countries, so I got a request out of New Zealand. I got a request out of Australia.

00:36:33.740 --> 00:36:44.269 Dr. Enolia Foti: Okay, I'll go. I got a request out of Amsterdam in Belgium. Okay, that sounds great to me. I got a request out of of South America.

00:36:44.320 --> 00:37:04.639 Dr. Enolia Foti: And then I was like, you know, that list that I talked about of things that I like to do. Well, how do I get to do them, I'm going to hold a retreat. And on the retreat the extracurricular activities are going to be horseback riding. They're going to be, you know all of the various that I love to do. And so here I am in the middle of tulum.

00:37:05.060 --> 00:37:12.050 Dr. Enolia Foti: teaching empowerment to a group of people who are here for 7 days, and every other day we get to do something we love.

00:37:12.230 --> 00:37:13.030 Linda Marsanico: Hmm.

00:37:13.030 --> 00:37:13.790 Dr. Enolia Foti: That I

00:37:14.560 --> 00:37:33.680 Dr. Enolia Foti: and I was like, Yeah, this works, this really really works. So what ended up happening is that after doing this for for 7 or 8 years people really knew, and that people were meeting me and really knew the work that I did, and really knew that I uplifted. So

00:37:33.680 --> 00:37:57.759 Dr. Enolia Foti: it was honestly some of my retreat members that basically said, Hey, I'm holding XY. And Z. Program. I remember a beautiful woman named Chloe out of France, and she's like, I belong to this women's group. And we're having a really big deal. And I'd love to invite you as a keynote speaker. And I'm like, Okay, she's going to use speaking to a bunch of entrepreneurs. But I want the spirituality. And I want the upliftment.

00:37:58.000 --> 00:38:00.259 Dr. Enolia Foti: not a problem. We did it.

00:38:00.720 --> 00:38:19.909 Dr. Enolia Foti: You know I met this beautiful, beautiful woman in Nepal through G, 100. I belong to G, 100 Spirituality group for a period of time and through this beautiful woman. She invited me for an award in Nepal. And I'm like.

00:38:20.240 --> 00:38:34.260 Dr. Enolia Foti: Oh, okay, well, I went for that. And while I was there, 3 different schools asked me to engage with them. A high school and 2 elementary schools. So I went, and I spoke to 500 high school students

00:38:34.530 --> 00:38:37.390 Dr. Enolia Foti: and and talked about how they were the gift.

00:38:37.820 --> 00:38:51.350 Dr. Enolia Foti: and that it doesn't matter what walk of life that they come from, that. The gift that they had within. Whether it was drawing, speaking, you know, singing, whatever it is that they possess

00:38:51.590 --> 00:39:00.699 Dr. Enolia Foti: is what's going to be needed in this world and what they should bring front and center, and don't ever lose it, that they are the gifts, not what they can

00:39:00.890 --> 00:39:22.900 Dr. Enolia Foti: be or what they can do, but they themselves are the precious cargo that we need in order to carry us through and navigate us through the future. So from there somebody would hear my speaking. I ended up in India, and here I am in. I ended up speaking with 3 different schools or 4 different schools in India.

00:39:23.280 --> 00:39:47.150 Dr. Enolia Foti: And so then this youth empowerment piece came into play. I started holding speaking events because I wanted to give wave to platforms for people who had something to say, but couldn't find a proper location to say it, and so I partnered with a dear, dear friend of mine, and we held speaking engagements, and we did it quarterly

00:39:47.300 --> 00:40:02.089 Dr. Enolia Foti: 4 times a year, and you we created a particular topic that we wanted to speak on, and then we would open and close and keynote for for our own platform and so it just grew. It grew into this. And it's interesting because

00:40:02.360 --> 00:40:11.730 Dr. Enolia Foti: I'm actually now working with a dear friend of mine launching a radio station. So for women's voices to ring.

00:40:12.820 --> 00:40:19.719 Linda Marsanico: I think I saw something like that on vision of freaks website. I saw it somewhere. Be on your website.

00:40:19.720 --> 00:40:38.033 Dr. Enolia Foti: It's on my website. It's called Wombology is the name of it and and I asked you to go through Enolia. Dot live to find it until I secure my domain. Name which Godaddy is holding me hostage. And that's another story. And

00:40:38.730 --> 00:40:55.130 Dr. Enolia Foti: wombology is the platform to give women voices to speak. They lead. It's not that men can't come. Men can come as a guest on any one of the shows that we have as a guest, but the women lead.

00:40:55.300 --> 00:41:19.780 Dr. Enolia Foti: and then I love the fact that the retreats I still do. I'm doing a retreat to Egypt. We start off in Cairo we go to Giza, and then we go to Ashwan, and we go up the Nile River to Luxor, and we come back to Cairo and engage in. It's a spiritual journey. It's it's not a tourist journey. I don't do tourist journeys.

00:41:20.410 --> 00:41:32.879 Dr. Enolia Foti: And then the fact that I meet all of these grandmothers and and grandfathers. I met this wonderful, wonderful young man. His name is Deveshriki soon, and we are

00:41:33.340 --> 00:41:36.420 Dr. Enolia Foti: doing a retreat in India in Rishikesh.

00:41:37.056 --> 00:42:03.370 Dr. Enolia Foti: Right by the Ganga River, and for those who don't know what Rishikesh India is, it's the Yoga capital of the world. So anyone who does yoga knows about Rishikesh. But the beautiful journey that we're going to provide is that I'm an indigenous shamanic practitioner, and he comes from the Hindu perspective of energy healing. And so the beauty that 2 different modalities can coexist in one

00:42:04.880 --> 00:42:12.890 Dr. Enolia Foti: retreat, and how we're going to be approaching it in 2 different ways. And we've worked together before, and I think it's going to be really, really powerful.

00:42:13.680 --> 00:42:17.370 Linda Marsanico: Sounds powerful, yes, beautiful, and your.

00:42:17.370 --> 00:42:17.720 Dr. Enolia Foti: So.

00:42:17.720 --> 00:42:19.780 Linda Marsanico: Journey has been organic.

00:42:20.690 --> 00:42:26.820 Dr. Enolia Foti: It's been organic, and you know I always tell people dream a beautiful dream, or you will be dreamt.

00:42:27.460 --> 00:42:56.010 Dr. Enolia Foti: And what I mean by that is that if you don't hold a vision for yourself of all of the things that you want to do, how you want to go after them, and how you want to organize them, to engage others into it. Then you will live your life, running around, fulfilling what people think you should be doing, and that's not how I wanted to live my life after doing the corporate thing, because the corporate thing was purposeful right? And that's what we're groomed for, and that's what we're taught.

00:42:56.210 --> 00:43:08.680 Dr. Enolia Foti: But to be a thought leader, to be a retreat leader, to coach, to improve people's lives, to gather people together, to engage them to make help them be inspired and lift them up.

00:43:08.870 --> 00:43:11.210 Dr. Enolia Foti: That's that's the heart of what I love.

00:43:11.660 --> 00:43:15.229 Dr. Enolia Foti: and that I wanted to do on my terms.

00:43:17.630 --> 00:43:21.978 Linda Marsanico: Yes, it's a beautiful energy. Anolia, it's

00:43:23.400 --> 00:43:27.069 Linda Marsanico: strongly, leading with the feminine principle of creativity.

00:43:27.800 --> 00:43:40.430 Linda Marsanico: But balance, because we were not just the feminine energy. Men are not just the masculine energy. The the journey is to come to the middle, so that we can act from our full repertoire

00:43:40.840 --> 00:43:41.940 Linda Marsanico: possibility.

00:43:43.060 --> 00:43:53.130 Dr. Enolia Foti: Exactly, absolutely. Men are our partners. It it doesn't work without them, you know, and one doesn't need to consume the other.

00:43:53.810 --> 00:43:57.360 Dr. Enolia Foti: One needs to walk mutually in respect and balance with the other.

00:43:58.200 --> 00:43:59.790 Linda Marsanico: That's a wonderful way to

00:44:00.530 --> 00:44:05.989 Linda Marsanico: that's what it's all about. And when we come back, let's talk more about that, because

00:44:06.950 --> 00:44:26.329 Linda Marsanico: it's really the way we need to be focused. We need to be developing and growing and finding love within. And that leads to being in the middle, not yes or no, or right and wrong, but to be fully powerful is you. Think of the prayer position. Many religions or spiritual people

00:44:26.750 --> 00:44:30.120 Linda Marsanico: have this, and it's right in front of the heart, and it's in the middle of

00:44:30.230 --> 00:44:38.730 Linda Marsanico: both poles, so to speak. So when we come back, let's talk more about that walking with respect with our partners.

00:44:39.770 --> 00:44:42.650 Linda Marsanico: So, listeners, we are going to take a break

00:44:42.820 --> 00:44:46.219 Linda Marsanico: to come back for more exciting conversation

00:44:46.780 --> 00:44:48.110 Linda Marsanico: on the a changes. So don't.

00:46:18.950 --> 00:46:34.449 Linda Marsanico: Hello, everyone! Welcome back to the A. Train to Sedona broadcast. I'm Linda Marcannico with my guest, Anolia Harris, Pedro, and we're talking about walking with our partners. Anolia, will you start us off.

00:46:35.450 --> 00:46:47.830 Dr. Enolia Foti: So I was talking about the fact that we have this idea a lot of times that when we partner with someone when we get married when we make that commitment that you have to lose yourself

00:46:48.150 --> 00:46:50.350 Dr. Enolia Foti: in that being one.

00:46:50.980 --> 00:47:11.500 Dr. Enolia Foti: And I subscribe that I. Personally, this is not the reflection of anyone else's thoughts or anything else like that. But I have always been taught throughout my family lineage that that's walking in balance with someone. What does that mean? You know, we get this idea that we make a commitment to one another.

00:47:11.780 --> 00:47:17.459 Dr. Enolia Foti: And you know, what are you balancing? You're balancing love, and you're balancing freedom.

00:47:18.090 --> 00:47:28.889 Dr. Enolia Foti: You're balancing the fact that yes, I have free time, and I have freedom to do with the things that I want to do. But I want to share my life with someone that's the key word share.

00:47:29.230 --> 00:47:38.479 Dr. Enolia Foti: Right? So if somebody doesn't want to give you enough freedom, then you feel what all consumed right? You feel stuck. You feel like possessed.

00:47:38.700 --> 00:47:41.629 Dr. Enolia Foti: you know. But then, if somebody doesn't

00:47:42.040 --> 00:48:10.539 Dr. Enolia Foti: love you, and they never care where you are, and they never worry about where you are. Then you feel like well, goodness, you couldn't, you know. Show me that you cared a little bit. So we find that happy. What that happy center you don't want to be possessed, but you don't want to be just let go, you know, without any regard. So you find that happy medium, the same thing with love right? We don't want to be so consumed with love that we feel like, Oh, my God, I you know I'm smothered.

00:48:10.600 --> 00:48:36.270 Dr. Enolia Foti: I feel like I can't breathe, you know, but on the same token, we don't want to, you know. Feel like we're not loved enough and like oh, my goodness! They couldn't care less about what I do! You don't show love, you don't care. You don't even inquire, you know, so there's a balance that takes place between our love. And there's a balance that takes place between our freedom when we come together as a couple. So why is it? Many people think

00:48:36.270 --> 00:48:46.719 Dr. Enolia Foti: that. Okay, I own you. You're my. You're my partner now, and and you have to do what I say. You have to do it. And then it's it's almost like an ownership type of thing.

00:48:46.750 --> 00:48:47.740 Dr. Enolia Foti: right?

00:48:48.090 --> 00:48:52.110 Dr. Enolia Foti: Because I invite you in my life doesn't mean I have to consume you.

00:48:52.280 --> 00:49:03.940 Dr. Enolia Foti: consume you with jealousies consume you with insecurities, consume you with. This is the expectations I have, and you have to meet every single one of them, because I have them, because you've committed to me.

00:49:04.380 --> 00:49:23.549 Dr. Enolia Foti: you know, and it goes the other way around. We are not pieces of property to be owned. We are not pieces of property to be told what to do, how to do it, when to do it, so on and so forth. Now this is in a worldwide discussion, very very different from many cultures.

00:49:24.220 --> 00:49:27.290 Dr. Enolia Foti: Okay, because in some cultures women are brought up

00:49:28.250 --> 00:49:49.099 Dr. Enolia Foti: especially just to be able to be that subservient role in terms of cooking, cleaning, making sure the house is taken care of such and such and such a thing, but I use subservient under the Western terms, because on the Eastern terms and other terms. It's not subservient. That's just the role.

00:49:49.580 --> 00:49:54.479 Dr. Enolia Foti: We look at it from a Western point of view as subservient, because

00:49:54.930 --> 00:50:04.569 Dr. Enolia Foti: there are other things that we could be expressing, or intelligence, or this, and are that and the other, you know. So I say, take it from where you are.

00:50:04.860 --> 00:50:13.529 Dr. Enolia Foti: What does balance mean for you, for the countries that that the woman is groomed for that certain role.

00:50:14.170 --> 00:50:19.360 Dr. Enolia Foti: The refreshing thing for them is to just have the conversation, that there are other roles for them to play.

00:50:19.730 --> 00:50:25.449 Dr. Enolia Foti: that there are other roles that they can actually engage in, and still have a partnership, and not feel all consumed.

00:50:26.040 --> 00:50:26.680 Linda Marsanico: Hmm.

00:50:27.170 --> 00:50:50.549 Dr. Enolia Foti: For us in the Us. And Europe and whatnot. It's okay. I express my freedom. I express who I am as an individual, and I can walk side by side in mutual respect with my partner, and meet them halfway. There are things I don't like that he likes. There are things he likes that I don't like, but we, because we respect one another, meet in that middle.

00:50:51.910 --> 00:50:59.459 Dr. Enolia Foti: So I always have to make sure that I express that I'm because that worldview is is quite different from many points of view.

00:50:59.800 --> 00:51:01.840 Linda Marsanico: Yes, and we need to be respectful.

00:51:02.230 --> 00:51:02.810 Dr. Enolia Foti: Yeah.

00:51:02.990 --> 00:51:06.029 Linda Marsanico: Culture and tradition and choice.

00:51:06.250 --> 00:51:09.119 Dr. Enolia Foti: And not superimpose as.

00:51:09.760 --> 00:51:14.160 Linda Marsanico: Many cultures of dominance have done

00:51:14.420 --> 00:51:29.560 Linda Marsanico: to impose their values on another group. So it's important for us to be respectful of women's choices, of men's choices, and you said something very important. The wombology and I had been on your website, and I had seen that

00:51:29.730 --> 00:51:38.650 Linda Marsanico: to invite the men in for partnership, for creativity, for for balance,

00:51:39.870 --> 00:51:46.200 Dr. Enolia Foti: And for conversation, because and the reason that it says where women's voices reign is because

00:51:46.410 --> 00:51:51.450 Dr. Enolia Foti: the balance is sometimes. Now our perspective needs to be seen.

00:51:51.810 --> 00:51:52.320 Linda Marsanico: Yes.

00:51:52.320 --> 00:51:55.809 Dr. Enolia Foti: Our perspective needs to lead and be discussed.

00:51:55.950 --> 00:52:02.659 Dr. Enolia Foti: It's not that we don't respect the the the voice of the men. I think it's very important.

00:52:02.880 --> 00:52:09.929 Dr. Enolia Foti: but our perspective needs to be understood clearly, and you can't have that conversation unless you're leading it.

00:52:11.560 --> 00:52:13.739 Linda Marsanico: It's time for

00:52:13.940 --> 00:52:34.200 Linda Marsanico: the Western world, anyway, for whoever wishes to move in that direction, to have for the female voice to be heard, you know, for the Feminine Principle to be expressed so that we can move toward balance in ourselves, in our relationships, in our cities and countries, in the continents in the world really.

00:52:34.630 --> 00:52:35.180 Dr. Enolia Foti: Yes.

00:52:35.180 --> 00:52:37.850 Linda Marsanico: View is really an important view.

00:52:38.230 --> 00:52:41.100 Dr. Enolia Foti: Yes, and you can't groom one without the other.

00:52:41.290 --> 00:52:49.679 Dr. Enolia Foti: Everything has to be hand in hand. If I put all my focus on on just the woman. Then the man's like, Well, where are you coming from? There? There's a gap.

00:52:49.960 --> 00:52:50.420 Dr. Enolia Foti: Because

00:52:50.420 --> 00:53:02.449 Dr. Enolia Foti: because they don't understand the perspective. They don't understand why they don't understand the importance, you know. So if we can have a conversation, an open conversation, you know.

00:53:02.640 --> 00:53:04.920 Dr. Enolia Foti: then what happens is that

00:53:05.410 --> 00:53:12.449 Dr. Enolia Foti: you may not agree with it. You may not like it, but you respect it, and you understand the perspective in which it. It's coming from.

00:53:15.130 --> 00:53:18.919 Linda Marsanico: Listening learning are very important.

00:53:19.706 --> 00:53:32.120 Linda Marsanico: As you said. You know, we don't always agree with someone, but to agree to disagree, to compromise where we can, we can realize how much we're really the same after we can get past those bumps.

00:53:32.290 --> 00:53:33.290 Dr. Enolia Foti: Yes.

00:53:34.070 --> 00:53:47.689 Linda Marsanico: So I wanted to ask you about youth advocacy. You know you were talking about speaking to high schoolers and saying you are the gift. They are our future, they are, and the kids coming in. I have 6 grandchildren.

00:53:48.760 --> 00:53:52.950 Linda Marsanico: The kids are so smart and so evolved, so.

00:53:52.950 --> 00:53:53.320 Dr. Enolia Foti: Sure.

00:53:53.320 --> 00:53:56.329 Linda Marsanico: Oh, my goodness, it's just going going, going, going, going.

00:53:56.860 --> 00:53:58.770 Linda Marsanico: Tell me about youth, advocacy.

00:53:59.840 --> 00:54:23.489 Dr. Enolia Foti: Well, 1st of all, the kids that are coming in are extremely smart, so we have to stop undermining them, and we have to stop suppressing their intelligence. Okay? And instead of being intimidated by their intelligence, and by basically saying, Oh, that doesn't exist, or Oh, that's not true, or Oh, blah blah blah, which is easy to just matter of factly, just disregard what's being said. We need to take pause.

00:54:23.570 --> 00:54:30.130 Dr. Enolia Foti: We need to take pause, and we need to learn from our children as much as our children are learning from us.

00:54:30.270 --> 00:54:48.279 Dr. Enolia Foti: So youth, advocacy to me is to be able to give them a platform to express themselves and to understand the perspective by which they've learned the perspective by which they're speaking from from their heart's desire, because sometimes what it is is that we hadn't done the due diligence, and they have.

00:54:49.780 --> 00:54:53.350 Dr. Enolia Foti: and as they learn anything

00:54:53.560 --> 00:55:02.779 Dr. Enolia Foti: in in relationship is, there's a reciprocity that's taking place. There is a give and a take.

00:55:03.130 --> 00:55:25.230 Dr. Enolia Foti: It is not. Give, give, give and take, take, take. No, it's an equal exchange. So we need to have that equal exchange. So you know, on my platform I love to speak with youth leaders on my platform, or when I'm engaged with speaking, I listen to the questions. The questions are quite intelligent.

00:55:25.580 --> 00:55:48.419 Dr. Enolia Foti: and then, you know, as a parent, don't be afraid to find the right counselor and say, Okay, my son and I are having these problems. Or my daughter and I are having these problems. And we're missing the communications. Can we break this down to a point where I understand where they're coming from, and and they understand where I'm coming from. So there's a mutual respect. We're willing to do it with our partners.

00:55:48.580 --> 00:55:53.989 Dr. Enolia Foti: We're willing to do it with those that we married. So then why wouldn't we do it with our own children.

00:55:54.590 --> 00:56:19.150 Dr. Enolia Foti: you know, and the other thing, too, is they're coming in gifted. So energy plays a part in a lot of children's gifts. And when they're saying they're seeing something or or experiencing something, we can't be dismissive. We need to find the right people to help, understand and disseminate what's taking place in their lives, because I also work with children as it pertains to energy too.

00:56:19.920 --> 00:56:22.280 Dr. Enolia Foti: So these things are extremely important.

00:56:22.830 --> 00:56:30.670 Linda Marsanico: Absolutely. Your work is so wide and rich.

00:56:32.170 --> 00:56:36.790 Linda Marsanico: and I'm so excited that you've been my guest and we've collaborated.

00:56:37.010 --> 00:56:39.279 Linda Marsanico: How can people find you, Anolia?

00:56:40.600 --> 00:57:00.200 Dr. Enolia Foti: They can find everything that I'm doing on Enolia ENOL. IA live that holds the retreats that holds my workshops, that holds my coaching. I am on Youtube under Enolia energy and the Infinite Way, podcast I am

00:57:00.200 --> 00:57:28.780 Dr. Enolia Foti: on Facebook and Instagram also. But if you really want to know where I am and what I'm doing. All roads start from Enolia, live and then lead to vision, ethic development or the partnerships that I'm in or womb biology. Also, if you're interested in being a radio host, or you have a monologue that you want to share, I'm more than open to listen and invite those people who are interested.

00:57:28.800 --> 00:57:34.399 Dr. Enolia Foti: Yeah, that that's the plethora of information.

00:57:35.460 --> 00:57:42.240 Linda Marsanico: Wonderful. Is there anything you'd like to say to your listeners before we close.

00:57:44.040 --> 00:57:50.570 Dr. Enolia Foti: You know we are the lighthouses, those of us

00:57:50.780 --> 00:57:56.089 Dr. Enolia Foti: who stand and want to beam, the beauty and the joy in the midst of chaos.

00:57:57.290 --> 00:58:00.299 Dr. Enolia Foti: Chaos is taking place all around us.

00:58:01.150 --> 00:58:11.820 Dr. Enolia Foti: Are you choosing to be the light in the midst of the chaos, so that people can come out of the storm, and then be that light, or are you part of the chaos?

00:58:13.030 --> 00:58:17.400 Dr. Enolia Foti: My choosing is to be that light in the midst of the chaos?

00:58:17.960 --> 00:58:25.689 Dr. Enolia Foti: Provide a sacred space and a safe space, where people feel that they can actually come to peace and be at rest and away from fear

00:58:25.810 --> 00:58:31.429 Dr. Enolia Foti: and away from worry. We need it more now than ever all over the world.

00:58:32.370 --> 00:58:35.279 Dr. Enolia Foti: So I invite you to be the lighthouse.

00:58:50.940 --> 00:58:53.940 Dr. Enolia Foti: You don't have to be something you just be.

00:58:54.860 --> 00:58:57.920 Dr. Enolia Foti: and let that serve as the ripple effect.

00:59:03.390 --> 00:59:11.670 Dr. Enolia Foti: and for those who want to come out of the storm. They will see your light, and they will come out themselves. You can't force it on anyone.

00:59:14.630 --> 00:59:23.120 Dr. Enolia Foti: so. It is my hope that as you stand, you emanate, and as you emanate, you create, and as you create, you are.
