[NEW EPISODE] The Courage to be an Entrepreneur

This week on Voices of Courage, Ken D. Foster is joined by entrepreneurial guests, Dr. Jenelle Kim and Michelle Aristondo-Chereque, and Voices of America Talk Show Host, Tony D’Urso, to discuss what it takes to be an entrepreneur and start and run a successful business.

Segment 1

Ken Foster starts the show by sharing a story about how his father and how he taught him how to become an entrepreneur. He also gives insight to how entrepreneurs think, giving key advice on how to identify what needs to be improved in one’s life. He introduces Tony D’Urso, his first guest. Tony shares how he became an entrepreneur, speaking about how he and his family immigrated to the United States and his first job delivering newspapers at five years old.

Segment 2

Tony discusses his success in the corporate world and how his early jobs led him to success. He goes on to speak about his podcast and what drove him to starting his podcast. He now has the #1 show on the Voice America network with 10 million downloads. He gives advice on how his podcast became so successful and what he thought contributed to his success. Tony also shares that he uses a mentor, and how their guidance has helped his podcast career flourish.

Segment 3

Ken Foster opens the next segment by asking Tony how his podcast has remained successful among the growing world of podcasts. Tony continues to reveal details about his “vision map”, in which he maps out where he wants his career to go and how he can accomplish that. He also discusses his new book and the inspiration and story behind it.

Segment 4

The fourth segment opens with two new guests, Dr. Jenelle Kim and Michelle Aristando-Chereque. They discuss how they began their partnership, speaking on how both of their backgrounds complimented each other and led to the creation of their company, “Good Essentials”. Their new product line was started after seeing the emergence of many new types of hand sanitizers and their knowledge of safe formulas for hand sanitizers. They discuss the obstacles that they had to overcome in order to get their product out to markets, including getting bottles to package their sanitizer, especially when they wanted to release them quickly. Additionally, they speak about their upcoming line of essential oils and the benefits of using these oils in a common person’s life. They finish by discussing their message to the world right now.
