Marvin is a former NFL Defensive End who played 11 years in the NFL and won a Super Bowl with the Broncos in 1999.

Marvin has been a vocal advocate who wants the NFL and the Players Association to embrace cannabis as a safe alternative to treat debilitating sports injuries like CTE.

Washington is also a plaintiff in the recently announced lawsuit against the federal government, declaring the Controlled Substances Act's Schedule I status of marijuana is unconstitutional.

Washington's basis for suing is due to marijuana's schedule I status. which makes him ineligible to obtain grants under the Federal Minority Business Enterprise program to start a medical cannabis business.
