I’m Elizabeth Tripp, Owner & Founder of Nourish the Soul. I’m an Intuitive Healer who has a tremendous amount of passion for working with people. At an early age, I discovered I had a unique capacity for sensing and understanding the feelings of others as well as the ability to feel and communicate with spiritual energy. Today, I embrace my gifts to work with clients deeply and profoundly. I’m grateful to share my gifts with you, and I’m proud to say, “I’m living my soul’s true purpose guiding individuals to live a happier and healthier life!”
I have studied the healing arts of the mind, body, and soul in the New York Metropolitan Area for 10 years. By trade, I’m a Registered Dietitian (RD) Certified Nutritionist/Dietitian (CDN) since 2010. I am not your traditional nutritionist. I believe food and the body are incredible tools to uncover the root of our physical and emotional imbalances. Throughout my studies, I’ve expanded the breadth and depth of my understanding of mind, body & soul connection and along the way empowered myself to live a life of freedom with my whole self – my nutrition, my body, my mind and my spirit. It is my mission to provide my clients with permanent solutions to their life issues while changing the conversations people are having about food, the body, and how to cultivate true health and well-being.
Today in my practice, I enjoy witnessing my clients Nourish the Soul while walking into freedom with not just their body and food but relationships, career, and soul purpose too! As a spiritual teacher, speaker, healer, radio talk show host, and consultant my work brings me great joy. I’m over the moon excited to share my revolutionary approach with the world. I look forward to working with you!

[EPISODE] Healing The Heart Through Storytelling
Have you ever struggled to move beyond a painful event or past hurt? Do you find it therapeutic to journal when you’re upset? Are you curious about how storytelling can empower you to live a life of bliss?
Well, you’re in luck! This Wednesday I will be interviewing a special guest, Diana Raab – Author award-winning author, poet, essayist, blogger, and educator. Come along as we explore how writing is a transformational tool to Nourish the Soul and change the way you think and feel about your life. We ALL have a story tell… She’ll be kicking off this month’s theme: Healing the Heart Through Storytelling.
Diana believes, “by documenting the story of your life, you have the chance to relive, examine, and reconstruct your lived experiences in a way that can be empowering. By working through your life, you are able to draw a certain amount of energy from what you have been through, reconcile yourself with your experiences, and then move forward.”
How would you like to set yourself free from your past? Storytelling helps us understand ourselves better and to find our commonality with others. Come ready to learn about Diana’s latest book Writing for Bliss: A Seven-Step Plan for Telling Your Story and Transforming Your Life and how her work can change your life! For centuries stories have served as windows into human experience as they connect us to a larger self and universal truths.
Let’s allow ourselves to go deeper with our understanding of who we are as we set an intention this Wednesday evening – to find a thread of connection to the Universe and what we have come to this Earth journey to learn through story. Phone lines will be open for Q&A with Diana and a chance to win something special for those who call in from Nourish the Soul -> 877-480-4120
In Diana’s 40-year career, she has written thousands of articles and poems and is the editor of two anthologies, Writers on the Edge and Writers and Their Notebooks. Dr. Raab’s two memoirs are Regina’s Closet: Finding MyGrandmother’s Secret Journal and Healing With Words: A Writer’s Cancer Journey. The next step is to examine your life and to realize what you have to offer to others and the universe. The fifth step is to follow your form of writing.
Before continuing the previous point, Elizabeth asks what kind of writing structure that Dr. Raab keeps to. She responds with that different things work for different people and it depends on what works for you. Join Nourish the Soul this Wednesday night as we explore ways to take what we have learned and draw awareness to the body, quiet the mind, and effectively clear anger, frustration, anxiety, dread from the body.
Elizabeth starts off the show by letting her audience know that the power of the show is harnessing stories that we have experienced throughout our lives. She explains that we are able to draw awareness to our own self journey by listening to others stories. With the fourth of july and summer coming up, Elizabeth wants tonight’s show to focus on self awareness. Elizabeth ask the audience “Are you ready to get a sense of peace within yourself?” She begins talking about power, mentioning that people are constantly trying to find this peace within themselves and have struggle with this want. Elizabeth speaks about her own experience living in NYC and the drama that she experiences, drama is a mirror to your soul journey, she explains.
Elizabeth shares an experience of her own where she tested herself if she could really stay calm while interacting with others in a drama filled situation. Elizabeth explains that anger is a power that people use when they need a sense of control. She goes on to recap what the show has gone over the past month and how we have dove deeper into how to empower the body. Elizabeth receives a call from a listener and is asked about “stillness” and meditation, and how these practices can help the body. Elizabeth explains to the listener the difference between reaction and response. She mentions that a response is when someone is in the state of awareness, stops and thinks during a stressful situation.
The third segment continues with Elizabeth’s caller on the line. The caller asks “What to do if you can’t go someplace quiet when wanting to meditate?” Elizabeth tells her caller to remember to herself that “this is the old spagetti”. Elizabeth discusses the meaning of meditation and how there are different forms. She tells her audience that meditation is something that you do on a daily basis, something that you love. If you love to dance, then dancing is a form a meditation because your soul is doing something that it loves, meditation is an activity that is adored by the soul. Elizabeth shares a story when she began meditation before working with her coach. In the spring of 2014 she began having trouble breathing while laying on her bed after a long weekend filled with drama. A few weeks later she found herself in a meditation course where for 20 minutes a day she would practice mediation while closing her eyes.
Elizabeth continues to share her story. After beginning to meditate elizabeth began catching herself singing in the shower and becoming really happy. After this, she found her moons and that what was the moment where she began crying and these emotions being released was a pivotal moment in her journey. Elizabeth closes out the show by circling back to the practice of self awareness as the fourth of july approaches.

Elizabeth discusses how unhealthy life choices, negative feelings about yourself, or frustrating situations in your life are a result of past energy that has not been released from the body.
Elizabeth begins this segment by sharing how her family-packed weekend influenced this week’s topic. Elizabeth wants to help listeners be able to get rid of feelings that are negatively impacting their lives.
Elizabeth asked listeners to think about feelings that they have been feeling that they want to get rid of, especially after Memorial Day. Since many people spend the holidays with family and friends, and possibly family and friends that bring to surface a lot of negative feelings, it’s important for people to recognize those feelings and work through them in order to get over them.
Elizabeth begins this segment by comparing the soul and body to cars. When a car’s engine dies, we buy a new car. This is similar to what happens to our souls and bodies when we die. Elizabeth also believes that feelings are some of our biggest contributors to our soul’s journey into transcendance. Elizabeth shares a story from when she felt triggered when she was with her family.
An experience with a little boy pointing out differences between Elizabeth and her friend led her to experience insecurities from her past that triggered her, and this made her realize that things that we feel when we’re younger, have a major impact on our souls. These feelings she felt in her adolescence, resurfaced whenever she spent time with her family, even during her college years. Elizabeth was finally able to overcome these feelings and triggers by recognizing these feelings, and looking for a way to let these feelings out.

Tonight on Nourish the Soul, Elizabeth talks about putting a stop unhealthy thoughts, behaviors, and beliefs that are preventing you from harvesting a life rich in well-being.
Elizabeth begins by discussing a conversation with a new client, and how profound their discussion was. They discovered that one moment really impacted her client’s life negatively, and how that is common among all people. She then goes on to discuss an incident she experienced when she was young that impacted her years later. Elizabeth then goes on to make announcements. The first announcement is that she has a workshop coming up for people who are tired of beating themselves up for not being accomplish the things they want for themselves. There will be a sacred ceremony, meditation, and refreshments. She also announced that tonight is the last night to enter the raffle for tickets to the workshop. The third announcement is that Nourish the Soul will be partnering up with New York Loves Yoga on the Upper West side and that they will be sponsoring Nourish the Soul at the start of June.
Elizabeth begins by discussing things, sometimes frustrating or unfortunate things, that have happened over the weeks that present an opportunity to look within and figure out why she continues to do this work. She then thanks her clients who have been supporting her over the last fews and the last few years, as well as her family. Elizabeth believes that although she is a teacher to all, she is also still a student to herself. The topic then moves on to the main topic, which is planting the seeds to living a positive life. Elizabeth asks listeners to reflect on their upbringings, and wonders what comes mind to them. She then asks the listeners to think of what it was like growing up, and what emotions they feel when thinking of their upbringings. These images and feelings are the seeds of our lives. We grow our garden, or our lives, from our adolescent experiences. The seeds in our garden can really determine which direction our lives go. Elizabeth then answers a listener’s question and offers them advice.
Elizabeth continues answer a listener’s question and offering them advice. Elizabeth believes that we are capable of removing old seeds and planting new seeds to help move forward in our lives to accomplish things instead of being held back by past experiences. Elizabeth then goes on to tell a story that she experience in seventh grade that changed the perception of herself. She planted a seed that her physical self was imperfect because a lot of discussions in her household were about body image and dieting. After experiencing a lot of anxiety during middle school with boys. After her first breakup, she learned that a boy broke up with her because he asked her out as a dare, and believed she was ugly. It really impacted her negatively and led her to believe that she was truly ugly. Now, when she reflects on this incident, she sees the deep seeds planted from this moment that shaped her life moving forward.
Elizabeth finishes her story from seventh grade when an experience with a boy planted negative seeds that impacted her body image from then on. She noticed that in eighth and ninth grade, she began dressing down and stop caring care of her image, as well as looking to binge eating for comfort. This also led her to drinking and partying in high school because she lacked confidence and found a place with other people who also lacked confidence. Elizabeth believes that we all have one seed that has completely changed our lives. We need to find these seeds within ourselves and unearth them so we can activate the DNA within our body to become the best versions of ourselves. Elizabeth then asks the listeners to look inside of themselves and to think about feelings, pain, or other experiences that are impacting their souls negatively. It is important for people to reflect and become aware of these negative seeds in order unearth them and move on from things that are not serving them.
