[EPISODE] Musings On Weirdness In Love And Meditation
This week, on The Conscious Consultant Hour, Sam welcomes Author, Piper Willoughby.
Piper Willoughby is an ordinary human, whose journey of self-discovery has led her through a great transformation, allowing her to connect with the very essence of who she is, and letting her light shine brightly in the universe. As an intensely private person, she has adopted a pen name, which lends her an elemental fluidity within the twin flame community.
In this luminous account of the depth of one woman’s contemplations, Piper Willoughby’s Musings on Weirdness in Love and Meditation is a guide through the universe’s chaotic diversions and the internal conflicts that arise when one is faced with potentially life-changing decisions.
Annie must choose between the comfortable and amicable yet ultimately incomplete life she has had with Peter, or the life of a twin flame with Alex—a life full of dramatic uncertainties but also one where she is united with her shared soul, thus completing her path of self-discovery.
As always Sam starts with quotes from The Universe and Abraham. The first quote states that every day is the most important day in the history of the world. This quote is about making sure to live in the present moment. Often times we think back to the past and the different things that lead us to this point. By being a little more present you can better analyze what is going on in your current life. The second quote focuses on the spiritual aspect of human life. Sam questions if the makeup of the universe is solid or energetic. He says that the most fundamental makeup of living beings in the universe is made up of energetic forces. He relates this to the idea that each being is a part of the whole and one with God. Sam introduces his guest, Piper Willoughby, which is her pen name. She explains why she uses a pen name when she wrote her book, Musings on Weirdness in Love and Meditation .
Sam and Piper discuss why she decided to write her book about twin flame, which is when two people are perfect matches as a result of shared pain or another difficulty. Piper explains that she sees it as one soul coming together with another through an intense connection. She differentiates twin flame and soul mate by explaining that with the former you have a constant push to look within yourself. She says that most people have a twin flame experience at some point in your life. Twin flames don’t always take the form in romantic relationships. Piper explains one example where a woman thought that her son was her twin flame. The twin flame is more about finding yourself through your love with the other person.
Sam welcomes the audience back by first answering a question sent in on how we perceive spirituality and life based on our own material existence. The two move on to the deep connection exhibited by twin flames and their innate understanding of each other. The conversation shifts to intrusive numbers that visit you out of the blue. Piper believes these numbers are messages from the universes’ energy being sent to us. Piper speaks on how her journey has supported her, as it also came with its fair share of challenges.
Piper and Sam talk about ‘self-love’ and how it is a theme in her book ‘musing on weirdness in love and meditation’ Piper talks about how female culture redirect self-love away from the deep reflection. Piper says “it’s really just about self analysis’ when talking about self-love. Piper talks about her next book about Alex and Annies’ on-going journey, a sequel to her previous work.
Piper explains how finding a spiritual community outside of her own family has been helpful. She says she did not feel completely accepted with her own family, but now with social media and the Twin Flames community she has found a community.
Piper’s book may come out in 2020, Sam noticed that ‘2020’ is a repeating number. Previously in the conversation Sam and Piper talked of synchronicity with numbers, specifically repeating numbers. They find the publication year 2020 to coincide with that theory.
