This week on Voices of Courage, host Ken Foster is joined by Happy Science Media Division Producer and Vice President of HS Productions, Yoichi Utebi, to discuss the courage to become a hero.
Yoichi shares what Happy Science is and how we can overcome hardships, heal, and transform ourselves by connecting to a higher consciousness.
He also discusses the new Happy Science movie, Immortal Hero, that is based on the near-death experience of Master Okawa and the will he exerted to thwart death, and in turn, change the lives of millions.
Ken kicks off his show by talking about heroes and how to become a true hero to yourself. Ken talks about how heroes are always going to be truth seekers and they’re always going to look for the truth, he also mentions that they are change makers. He talks about how we should really be praying for challenges to come our way so that we have the opportunity to grow from them. Ken talks about everyone having a destiny, and how he has watched his change throughout his life.
Ken comes back after break and introduces his guest Yoichi Utebi, and he talks about Happy Science which is one of the largest spiritual movements in Japan today. Yoichi talks about the author of Happy Science and how it is extremely easy to read and digest. He continues to talk about the actual “science” of happiness. Ken talks about when people are constantly looking for happiness and it feels as though they might never find it. Yoichi talks about his new movie coming out, Immortal Hero, and how it relates to the ideas of Happy Science.
When Ken comes back in, Yoichi and him wrap up talking about Yoichi’s new movie Immortal Hero and how it is based on a true story. Yoichi talks about the man who the film is based on and how he went through enlightenment after a near death experience. Yoichi talks about how he went around the world for the movie. Ken brings the conversation back to peace and how it is so necessary in our world today.
Ken talks to Yoichi talk about Yoichi’s upbringing. Ken talks about a program he wrote that he is giving away to people who are interested. Ken also talks about his birthday every year and how each year he looks to get rid of negative energy, almost taking inventory of what is in his brain. He talks about the subconscious mind, and how his program relates to it.
