[EPISODE] Homeless To Billionaire
This week, on The Conscious Consultant Hour, Sam welcomes Author, Philanthropist, Entrepreneur, Adventurer, and Founder of 19 Companies, Andres Pira.
Andres is an Author, Philanthropist, Entrepreneur, Adventurer, Founder of 19 Companies under Blue Horizon Developments and the most awarded real estate developer in Southeast Asia.
He had no money, no knowledge of the language, no understanding of the culture and his bed was beach sand with a suitcase for a pillow. So how did Andres Pira go from being homeless to one of Thailand’s biggest real estate developers with holdings in the billions? He reveals all in his new book, Homeless To Billionaire: The 18 Principles of Wealth Attraction and Creating Unlimited Opportunity
There are dozens of rags-to-riches books that claim to hold the template for success, but as Pira observes: “Knowledge is not what gets us what we want in life. The difference lies in taking specific action.” His actions are practically legendary. Jack Canfield, co-author of Chicken Soup for the Soul, says, “[Pira has] mastered the formula for making people believe in the impossible. He knows how to make money, inspire, and drive success like no one I have ever met.”
Sam starts with the quotes of the day from The Universe and Abraham. The first talks about that no one can take anything away from you because we are the creators of our own life. Nobody can diminish who we are as people. Even if they disappoint you or hurt you, that is a reflection on them, not yourself. The second discusses the law of attraction and that this is working all the time for everyone. Things will fall your way no matter who you are and no matter what kind of person you are. Sam then introduces his guest, Andres Pira, author, philanthropist, entrepreneur, adventurer, and founder of 19 companies. Andres discusses growing up in Sweden, moving to Thailand at 19 and being homeless after his first year in his new home. He says that those tough times made him who he is today and he doesn’t regret anything. He talks about the book The Secret, which completely turned his life around.
Andres talks about reading the book at first and not believing any of it. Over time as he was practicing the methods, like meditation, he began realizing that these things were working and benefiting his livelihood. Sam talks about how this story relates to his teachings of Abraham. Andres had a hard drive to find work and didn’t stop until he got one. Andres than talks about getting steady employment, having an apartment and having clean clothes again. Andres in a four year period moved up the ranks of employment and then started his own company. Andres then talks about becoming a billionaire and how he saw this was easier for him to reach then making his first million. He said once he reached a million he was able to stop focusing on the number and was able to move forward. Andres says he sees challenges as learning tools, not negative things. Then he explains why he wanted to write a book and getting together with Joe Vitale.
Andres brings it back by discussing the five most important principles illustrated in his book. These principles relate to how you should approach your goals, your thoughts and practicing being grateful for what you have in life. Sam resonates with the grateful principle and how he practices that in his everyday life. Andres then talks about how he uses these principles in his everyday life, especially gratefulness. Andres recently lost a big business opportunity in Thailand, but it worked out for him in the near future. Andres then talks about how he interacts and shares his ideas with others.
Andres then talks about the process of writing his book and working with Joe Vitale. He says that he wrote the book because he wanted to make a difference in others’ lives and make the same impact that changed his life. He wants to bring his seminars to the states in the near future. Andres says that most people don’t take this newfound form of consciousness into their own lives because they need proof. Andres talks about what gets him out of the bed in the morning and the 101 goals he writes down every year. He then talks about how his family has reacted to his amazing success. He has a great connection with them now after their initial negative reaction to him moving to Thailand. He says he is thinking about writing another book but he needs more material to do so.
