[EPISODE] Stop Going To Seminars!
This week, on The Conscious Consultant Hour, it’s just you and Sam for the hour!
This week, Sam discusses why constantly going to seminars and boot camps does not serve you, and how to stop the constant frenzy of trying to fix ourselves.
Sam kicks off the show by discussing how alike we truly are to each other, and not to condemn someone for doing one wrong thing. The next quote Sam talks about is tending to your emotional journey, and the compassion that the universe has for us. Sam connects this to relationships, saying that even if it feels like you’re going apart the universe will bring you back together and that we are constantly attracted to joyful people.
Sam starts this segment by getting into the topic of the show: not going to seminars. Sam explains that we already have everything we need inside of us, and that we aren’t a broken thing that needs fixing. Sam explains that we should think of seminars more as something that lifts us up and not something that will provide a quick fix. We have to make our own formula and no one’s path is going to do it for us. Sam poses the question, if you spend too much time going to seminars and bootcamps, when do you actually have the time to apply it?
Sam talks about not beating ourselves up for having bad days– it simply means we are human. Sam also discusses acting on fear verses acting on possibility, with seminars. Just because we feel bad doesn’t mean we need to take a workshop and get away from ourselves. Instead, we need to make the choice to go, out of love, and because it’s calling to us. Sam closes by talking about taking time to reflect on what we have accomplished.
Sam kicks off by talking about one of our most important tools, which is our body. Sam tells the listeners how they can connect to their bodies and why it is so important to be with yourself. Sam talks about how we can perform a muscle test in order to find out if you’re doing something out of joy or obligation. Sam closes the show by saying that we do not have to justify how we feel to someone else.
