[EPISODE] True Power: Creating Calm. The Space Between Our Mind & Heart Part 2
What does it mean to be truly powerful? Join me for a riveting Nourish the Soul as we learLast week’s show hit home for so many of my listeners. Many of us have lost our personal power to alcohol at some point or another. This week Nourish the Soul will be continuing the conversation of TRUE POWER while providing you with a deeper understanding of how to shift your mindset as you begin to have new conversations about alcohol, food, and your body.
Come prepared to learn even more about accessing your TRUE POWER from within. We will be exploring what that sounds like, looks like, and feels like for you. Stepping into your power changes the way you see the world and the way you interact with yourself – mind, body & soul.
As I help you shift your vibration you will begin to feel a difference in the things you want to eat & drink, the activities you want to do, how you act with others, and who you want to spend your time with.
This can feel like you have been dropped off in a foreign country! Just because we have become present to our old patterns of thought or beliefs doesn’t mean we have come complete with them.It also doesn’t mean we know what to do to continually cultivate our personal power. I’d like to ensure we shift powerfully together!
During the show, we will be going on a journey to more deeply explore shifting our perspective and how important it is to stay grounded throughout the process. It will be a well-deserved radio show for all who have been following along – truly one that will Nourish the Soul.
Tune in to learn more!
When we shift the way we see our world, our world shifts before us. Elizabeth shares a story of how an elder lady saw Elizabeth as someone strong enough to help her across the street. She saw Elizabeth for who she really was, a strong and brave individual with a lot of confidence. New things may incite fear and anxiety, but something new is an opportunity to grow and learn.
If you want a space where people can open and freely talk about their feelings, food, body, spirituality, career and is a space where it’s rooted in love, join Elizabeth’s Nourish the Soul Connect Share and Support at elizabethmtripp.com. Share anything you want in this safe and supportive group!
Changing the conversation and being vulnerable about food, alcohol and body will cultivate true well-being as you will begin talking and feeling different about yourself. Reflect on your journey to uncover the root of unbalances to achieve permanent solutions to live a life of balance, ease and vibrancy. Start by looking closely with the way we are thinking, talking and acting with our new selves.
The definition of power is the courage to feel your emotions and let them out. We are going to be triggered and challenged so that we can learn, grow and transform. This is the pillar of life, to allow ourselves to feel. If something has changed in our perspective, mark that as a positive feeling. What came up for you? But don’t go back to old behaviors and taking a bite of that “stinky spaghetti,” learn how to complete the shift by facing and dealing with emotions, allowing them to come out. You have the power and it is the choice to act, which is responding to your own beliefs and thoughts rather than to react, which is responding to someone else’s feelings and thoughts.
You have the power to act, not react. Ask yourself, what’s the new action I can take? What are new things you have to do to support this? For Elizabeth, she got active and committed to biweekly sessions of yoga. This new action shifted her career and into entrepreneurship. She also changed her routine and cut out people who stuck in the energy of people who were emotionally unavailable to themselves and her. Life-changing to find people who give you positive energy. Shift perspective what it meant to have fun on Friday and Saturday nights.
Think about what actions you want to take in order to make healthy new decisions for your body and the way you start thinking about your body. Start loving yourself and caring about your body. Make plans to go outdoors, alternatives that are more fulfilling for yourself. Stopped engaging with people who do not match your vibrations. Set boundaries to keep your energy clear and cultivate love within yourself.
Don’t let others take your power and energy. First step is noticing shifts and allowing yourself to act instead of reacting to the world.
Let yourself deal with your emotions and create new healthy actions. Action supports our new thoughts and beliefs to keep us standing in this new vibration. W
ho do you want to be? Gives room for us to explore ourselves. What does it look like to be the new me? Feel the new me? Sound like the new me? What actions do you want to take for yourself.
When triggered in life, ask yourself what do I need to do here? Be present, act and commit and you can create the new you.
