Welcome to Follow me Friday! Joan and Priya give a warm welcome to Katie and special guest Randi Levin, Randi is the founder and CEO of Randi Levin Coaching and she is a nationally recognized transitional life strategist. Joan and Priya discuss tips they have learned this week and Priya questions why her posts are not being posted on Facebook? Is it the algorithms? Joan says it happens all the time and she recommends that people will need to pay for advertising if they want their brand or company to be seen, especially when you have a business. Joan encourages everyone to post on all social media platforms in order for your business to be noticed. Joan also recommends that over the holidays, everyone should do a digital detox and take a small break if possible. Learn to detach and unplug once in awhile.
Priya tells a story about Joan knowing everyone. #JoanieVerse. Joan introduces Randi Levin. Randi talks about the pressure of the new year and why people tend to think they have to recreate everything from scratch. Randi suggests to focus on what your successes were, and don’t throw away the old year. She mentions how people need to work with what they have learned and continue to build on that. Take inventory of your life and don’t look at the negative look at the positive that you have accomplished. Joan mentions how difficult it can be to restart every day and Randi offers solutions. She recommends learning to be present in the moment and taking time to just be.. Give yourself the present of the present.
We are back with the three for three with Katie as she discusses tips and strategies for the new tax season approaching. Randi gives her top 3 strategies to win in the new year. First one is don’t quit especially when things are tough, but pivot instead. Joan loves the pivot idea. Move toward something positive. The second is to make sure your list of goals are clear and they belong to you to pick up traction. Create clarity around your list and take action. Randi’s last tip is to let curiosity lead and by doing that you turn around a negative situation and take back control. Instead of being upset be strategic.
Joan, Priya, and Randi enjoy a succulent Honey Crusted Salmon created by Chef “Wadeinini”. Joan talks about how this is the last show of the year and how Katie has been with them since the beginning of 2018. The ladies discuss the importance of being authentic and having their own voice, which allowed them to connect with their viewers and listeners. Randi talks about her new program called the Personal Success Accelerator System, a do it yourself 12-month program that you can do anytime and is available for everyone. In closing, Joan and Priya talk about their plans for the holidays and embrace the New Year. Expect a very exciting and interesting show with fabulous new guest for the the new year.
