David begins the show speaking on a very important issue: How people stopped making homemade products overtime. With the rise of online markets and big days such as Cyber Monday, David feels that everyone has lost touch on what it’s like to have something that is handmade, especially food and designs for our homes. He introduces Darin Ronning and Travis Messinger from Bantam Tileworks, who make a living handcrafting tiles.

Darin and Travis go in depth about their passion for handcrafted tiles and explain their excitement when they see the response from customers. Plus, why they use colors and their day-to-day interaction with clients.
The guys are back with David to talk more about their beginnings, coming from crafty families in Minnesota to the rise of their business here on the East Coast. Both Darin and Travis had very different lives before moving into crafting. Despite changing career paths, they are both grateful to have found their niche handcrafting tiles and appreciate the art of creation more than ever. Also, Travis explains how they fell in love their current home and where the handmade tiles in their house are located.
