David and Rinat explore experiences of beauty that inspire their designs. Rinat recounts the story of a Marie Antoinette rock crystal necklace, which inspired her love of rock crystal as a design element. David is inspired by the sequoias of California and the streets of Paris. They discuss their favorite rooms (Palais Royal, Baccarat Bar) and how these rooms engage the balance and tension central to every design project.
