Joan and Priya welcomed listeners and viewers, and they talked about #ShareYouRejection, a movement started online where people post/talk about their rejection experiences in life.
Our station Promotional Partner Judy Goss, Founder of the What Women Want Conference, called in and talked about the upcoming conference in Atlanta with the theme GO BIG.
Joan and Priya met today’s Guest Clayton Anderson, a retired astronaut, at the Book Expo America at the Javits Center. Clay didn’t get into NASA on his the first 14 tries, but he applied again and again and got in on 15! He is author of “The Ordinary Spaceman: From Boyhood Dreams to Astronaut”, “A is for Astronaut”, and “It’s a Question of Space.”
Speaking of space, Joan brought up Trump’s Space Force and the fun that some comedians are having with it. Priya talked about one item on her bucket list…applying to NASA to become an astronaut.
