David and Craig continue the interview and their conversation about Craig, his students, and his teaching methods. Craig talks about the positives what crypto-currency does for the market and how it’s easy accessibility helps those who aren’t as familiar with more traditional forms of trading. He talks about how hard it is to be successful at trading and that it requires a lot of time and effort. Craig goes into detail about what he specializes in, chart reading, and the things he’s traded in.
They open the segment continuing their discussion on the mindset and discipline that is required to get into trading. Craig goes as far as to saying how being in the correct mindset is the most important part of trading and his work. Next he talks about how hard to control the market is and how you can’t make it do what you want it to do: “The market is your dance partner. Don’t do what you want to do…Listen, respect it, and work with it.” He talks about how true breakthroughs only come about when you can remain humble, admit your mistakes and learn from them to improve later on down the line. Craig then talks more in depth about starting his podcast.
They open the final segment talking about some inconsistencies with what people think trading is and what it actually is. David asks what are some of the common trends that Craig comes across in trading, and Craig elaborates.
