Building on last week, Miriam Brosseau has on-the-ground tips for digital storytelling that break down your internal silos and resolve organizational frustrations. She’s like your storytelling therapist, from See3 Communications. (Recorded at the Nonprofit Technology Conference)
Email, landing page and digital ad testing: What it is; how to do it; and what to do with your results. Nick Garcia and Jack Hilson are with Mal Warwick Donordigital. (Also from the Nonprofit Technology Conference)
Tony welcomes his guest Mariam who talks about her job and Chief innovation officer and talks about digital storytelling. She talks about a 3 step strategy for nonprofits.
They continue the conversation on digital storytelling and how to make your content have an impact. Miriam talks about doing work with Make A Wife Foundation, knowing how to service them, and help to fulfill their mission. The duo talk about the impact they leave after the service they give. She gives an example where the Minnesota Make A Wish Foundation made a video on a patient and they helped bring his wish to life and it brought more light to the child.
Miriam comes back on talking about transformative moments used by digital storytelling and all the companies they have worked with.
“Start from strength and build from here”
It’s not what you do, its what you do does” – Miriam Brosseau
Tony welcomes another guest Nick Garcia and Jack Hilson, with Mal Warwick Donordigital. The trio talk about Test Quest. Hilson talks about the things nonprofits are missing. Should we be email testing? Garcia thinks we should because we use them on a daily bases. Hilson says emails are better than video even though videos are great.
