This week Elizabeth continues to explore how to “Befriend the Body to Walk With Freedom & Ease!” Special guest Tah Whitty, Co-owner of TahKole Bio Integration, we will be joining and will bring listeners on an exciting journey to “Master Your Body to Master Your Life!”
Elizabeth begins by explaining the purpose of her show and how she wants her audience to find their center, and to sit back and find out why they are tuning in to the show. She then goes on to explain what the month of june is all about for Nourish the soul and how the show is sponsored by the company “New York loves yoga”, for the month. Elizabeth reminds her listeners that this month she wants her viewers to listen to themselves and to become more open. She goes on to share a story with how she worked with a client earlier in the week who was able to sit down and tell herself that she loved her body and was sorry for hurting it. This made Elizabeth realize the true power of her work and how it affected others. Elizabeth goes on to ask her audience who lets a stranger come and live in their apartment and compares that unwanted guest to our emotions in our body, and if were able to learn how to not let unwanted emotions into our bodies. Before the end of the segment Elizabeth briefly introduces her quest for the evening and what they will be talking about in the upcoming segments.
The second segment starts off by Elizabeth introducing her guest for the evening, Tah Whitty. Elizabeth mentions that Tah has a sense of calmness about him while still being a powerful figure. The two then delve into Tah’s background and what shaped him into the person he is today. Tah explains that he grew up being a misfit and still is today, and because he doesn’t care what people say about him he is a strong and confident person. Tah is from Brooklyn, New York and still resides there today. He and Elizabeth mention that they both have worked at a hospital in Brooklyn, which leads to Tah explaining his medical background. He mentions that during his time as a nurse he noticed that we as humanity have taken the magic out of science and it is something that we as a society need to examine more. Tah goes on to explain that during his career in nursing he believed that he was actually hurting people and wanted to move on to something greater. After an injury at work everything in Tah’s life crashed, but this led to a new beginning. This new beginning led Tah to the opportunity to travel the world with his music where he found his future wife, Kole. Kole was someone who allowed Tah to be vulnerable, this was so special and important for Tah because he believes that secrets are the worst thing for the body to hold on to.
While he was still working as a nurse Tah began a personal training business. Tah explains that his knowledge of the scientific aspect of the body as well as the physical aspect allowed him to be very well rounded when it came to treating the body. He explains that he was able to realize that people need to know about their emotions and movements to fully understand their bodies. Elizabeth and Tah go on to get into a discussion about how different body parts are affected by certain feelings and emotions. Tah explains that relaxation and breathing are so important for the body because if you are constantly stressed and moving around your body is exhausting a ton of energy. He goes on to mention that if you are able to relax and balance your body out then your body will be able to access things that you didn’t know it could.
In the final segment Tah explains what Bio-Integration is and how he guide his clients through the process. What he does is establishes a life team by being in contact with everyone involved in his clients lives, he mentions that his process is extremely in depth and personal. Tah explains how his wife established a technique that has clients look at, talk to, and review themselves. The segment ends with Tah sharing a transformation story involving one of his clients.
